Frequently asked questions
Thinking about working with TechTide? Here are answers to the questions we hear most — about our services, how we work, pricing, and the kinds of products and industries we build for. Can't find what you're looking for? Just ask us below.
Getting started
We're a software studio offering custom software development, website development, mobile app development, and UI/UX design — plus SEO and content/blog services to help the products we build get found and grow. Most clients engage us end to end: from idea and design through build, launch, and ongoing support.
We've delivered for clients across 30+ industries, with particular depth in fintech, healthcare, and blockchain. Our team adapts quickly to new domains and pairs engineering with the security and compliance needs each industry brings.
Pricing depends on scope, complexity, and how you'd like to engage. After an initial conversation we scope the work and propose either a fixed price for well-defined projects or a monthly rate for a dedicated team. You always get a clear estimate before any work begins.
Two main ones: fixed-scope projects for clearly defined work, and a dedicated team you can scale up or down for ongoing or evolving products. We'll recommend whichever fits your goals and budget.
It depends on scope, but a focused MVP often takes a few weeks to a few months. After scoping we give you a realistic timeline with milestones, and we work in short cycles so you see progress early and often.
Tell us what you're building using the form at the bottom of this page. We'll reply within one business day to set up a short call, understand your goals, and propose a clear plan and estimate.
Software & web development
Yes. We design and build bespoke software — web platforms, internal tools, APIs, and integrations — tailored to your operations rather than forcing you into off-the-shelf templates. Everything is built clean, documented, and ready to scale.
We choose the stack per project rather than forcing one. On the web that's typically a modern JavaScript/TypeScript front end with robust back-end services and cloud infrastructure. We favour proven, well-supported tools so your product stays maintainable.
Yes. We build sites engineered for performance and Core Web Vitals, with clean semantic markup, fast load times, and an SEO-friendly structure out of the box — a solid foundation our SEO and content services can build on.
Absolutely. We regularly integrate with payment gateways, CRMs, ERPs, third-party APIs, and legacy systems, and we design each integration to be reliable and secure.
That's the point of building by hand. We architect for scale from the start — clean code, sensible infrastructure, and room to grow — so your product keeps performing as your users and data increase.
Mobile apps
Both. For most products we build cross-platform with Flutter — one polished codebase across iOS and Android, which is faster and more cost-effective. When a project genuinely needs it, we build fully native too.
Yes — from prototype and UI design through development, testing, and submission to both the App Store and Google Play. We handle the launch process and can manage updates afterward.
Yes. We offer ongoing support and maintenance to keep your app current with new OS versions, fix issues, and ship new features as your product evolves.
UI & UX design
We start with discovery and user flows, move to wireframes, then high-fidelity UI in Figma — testing and iterating along the way. Design and engineering work closely, so what we design is what actually ships.
Yes. For products that will grow, we build reusable design systems and component libraries so your UI stays consistent and is faster to extend over time.
Definitely. We can audit your current product, improve the experience and interface, and modernise the UI without throwing away what already works.
SEO & content
Yes. We provide technical and on-page SEO — site structure, performance, metadata, schema, and content optimisation — so the websites and products we build are easy to find and rank well.
SEO is a long game. Technical fixes can help quickly, but meaningful ranking and traffic gains usually take a few months of consistent work. We set realistic expectations and track progress transparently.
Yes. We offer content and blog writing — SEO-driven articles, landing-page copy, and ongoing blog content — written to be genuinely useful to readers while supporting your search visibility.
Yes. Beyond one-off work, we can run ongoing SEO and content as a monthly engagement — publishing regularly, monitoring performance, and adjusting as your goals shift.
Industries we serve
We have particular depth in fintech, healthcare, and blockchain, and have delivered across 30+ industries overall. We bring both engineering and the domain awareness each sector requires.
Yes. For regulated industries we build with security and compliance in mind — data protection, access controls, and the standards relevant to fintech and healthcare — and we work to your compliance requirements from the start.
Yes. We've delivered blockchain and Web3 work, and we'll advise honestly on whether a blockchain approach genuinely fits your problem before building it.
Working together
You get a direct line to the team, regular updates, and visible progress in short cycles. We're remote-first and async-friendly, so collaboration runs smoothly across time zones.
Yes — we're a remote-first studio across two continents and work with clients worldwide. Kick-off, contracts, and day-to-day collaboration all happen online.
We agree scope and terms up front in a written contract. Payment is typically milestone-based for fixed projects or monthly for dedicated teams, and we confirm everything before work starts.
That's normal, and our process expects it. Because we work in short cycles, changes are easy to fold in — we'll discuss any impact on scope, timeline, and cost transparently before proceeding.
You do. On completion and final payment, the code, design, and intellectual property are yours.
We're happy to sign an NDA before discussing details, and we treat your data and ideas as confidential throughout the engagement.
