Software Architect
Own the technical shape of client systems: architecture decisions, stack choices, and the standards that keep ten projects consistent.
What you'll do
- Design system architecture for new builds and rescues: services, data, integrations.
- Review and steer technical decisions across project teams.
- Write architecture docs that engineers actually use.
- Prototype risky parts early so estimates stand on evidence.
What we're looking for
- 8+ years in software engineering, 3+ owning architecture on delivered systems.
- Breadth across cloud (AWS or GCP), databases, and at least two backend stacks.
- You can defend a decision to a CTO and explain it to a junior in the same day.
- English good enough to lead technical calls with US clients.
Benefits
- 13th-month salary and year-end performance bonus
- Full statutory insurance (social, health, unemployment) on gross salary
- Premium PVI Care health insurance, family add-on available
- 12+ annual leave days, public holidays, and a yearly health checkup
- Company-provided high-spec laptop
- Annual company trip, team building, and a learning budget for courses and certifications
Life at TechTide
Since 2013, TechTide has grown from a small team in Ho Chi Minh City into a company of more than 100 people working across two continents, building software for clients in the United States. We work remote-first with good async habits, keep teams small enough that your work is visible, and take code review seriously as a way to teach rather than gatekeep. Engineers talk to clients, designers sit in on discovery, and nobody ships alone. The stack stays modern because the people who use it every day get a real say in it. If you want your work to reach production and your opinions to reach the roadmap, this is a good place to do both.
