TechTide earns revenue from advertising. This page lists every paid placement format we offer and exactly how each one is labeled, so readers always know what is advertising.
Our standard label across the site is Sponsored. Wherever you see it, the content or placement it marks was paid for.
Sponsored articles
Some articles in our News section are paid placements provided by sponsors. Every sponsored article carries a Sponsored label above the headline and this notice at the top of the article: “This article is a paid placement. It was provided by the sponsor and does not necessarily reflect the views of TechTide Editorial.”
Our blog does not accept sponsored articles.
Sponsored brand stories
Brand feature stories in Growth Studies may be produced in partnership with the featured company, written by TechTide from material the company provides. Every paid story carries the same Sponsored label above the headline and the same paid placement notice at the top of the article.
Paid links inside articles
Some articles on the blog and in News contain paid link placements, sold as link insertions. Every article that contains at least one paid link carries this notice at the top: “This article contains paid link placements. See our Advertising Disclosure.” The notice covers the whole article; individual links inside the article are not marked separately.
Paid positions in ranking articles
Positions in our ranking articles can be purchased. Every paid entry carries a Sponsored badge next to its name, and its outbound links use the sponsored link attribute. Articles that include paid entries also carry this notice at the top: “Payment may affect position order.”
Our rankings are compiled from public information, vendor documentation, and user feedback.
Site-wide sponsor placements
The Partners menu in the site header holds up to five paid sponsor cards, and the site footer holds up to three. Both groups are labeled: the Partners dropdown carries the heading “Sponsored placements” and the footer group carries a “Sponsored” label. All sponsor card links use the sponsored link attribute. These placements are sold by the month.
Cryptocurrency and finance content
Sponsored content about cryptocurrency or financial products is accepted case by case, under stricter rules:
- The sponsor must hold verifiable licenses or registrations for the regions the article targets.
- Articles may not include profit or return claims.
- Factual claims must be substantiated with sources.
- Articles keep a risk disclaimer.
