TechTide is built to collect as little data as possible. This page explains what we collect, why, and for how long.

Analytics

We measure site usage with a first-party system built into this website. It does not use cookies, does not record IP addresses, and does not create visitor profiles or identifiers of any kind. We record aggregate counts only, such as page views and clicks grouped by device type (mobile, tablet, desktop). On-site search queries are logged anonymously so we can improve our coverage. Analytics logs are deleted automatically after 190 days.

Cookies

This site does not set tracking cookies and does not use third-party analytics or advertising trackers.

Newsletter subscription

When you subscribe, your email address is delivered to our editorial mailbox and used only to send TechTide email updates. We do not sell or share subscriber addresses. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email we send, or by asking through our contact page; we delete your address on request.

Contact and advertising forms

Our contact and advertising forms ask for your name, email address, and message so we can reply to your enquiry. Submissions are delivered to our editorial mailbox by email and used only to handle your request. The forms include a consent checkbox confirming that you agree to be contacted about your enquiry.

Article feedback

The feedback box on articles collects no personal information, only the note you write.

Data retention and your rights

Form submissions and subscription emails stay in our mailbox until they are no longer needed or until you ask us to remove them. You can request a copy or the deletion of any data connected to your email address through our contact page.

Hosting and email

This website runs on third-party hosting infrastructure, and form submissions reach us by email. These providers process data only as needed to deliver those services.

Changes

We will update this page whenever our data practices change.
